Wow, very nice. It’s a bit refreshing how literally you took the visuals and meanings of the cards. I think you adapted the cards and their meanings well, even if your use of Death was really literal, and I can see a bit of the practice creeping its way in as well, it strikes me as a segment of a story told through a five card spread.
I wasn’t expecting people to post stories in the news area, I was looking for discussions and such. Even if this was for a competition of sorts, it’s cool that people aren’t embarrassed to do that. Sorry that this turned out to be such a long comment, I liked your writing.

Yeah, that formatting was intentional! Thanks for reading the story and commentin n alla that stuff, if you liked this you should check out the rest of the stories in the jam too. I think a decent amount of people post their writing outside of these jams as well, I know I will going forward.

Nicely done! Your wording and descriptions are definitely really impressive, and while I'm unfamiliar with the complexities of the world of tarot, your scenic descriptions really painted super in-depth pictures in my mind!
