I just watched Under The Skin, It was pretty good!

With the way it was done, it comes off somewhat like a found footage movie which I think was an interesting route to take. It was a cool viewing experience but the background/context that I feel would be very crucial to totally understanding the story is left completely vague. It didn’t elicit much of an emotional reaction from me until she ran into the nice guy—henceforth the movie was really good. I went into it assuming it was going to be quite a creepy movie and was let down on that front but I’m not mad, it was far more interesting than what I expected it to be. The only truly scary scenario comes at the end and it’s not sci-fi scary it’s unfortunate real-world horrors scary. But, yeah, worth a watch if you can stand an artsy film.

I heard it’s based off a book and that the book develops the story a lot more and I would like to read it sometime cause the story did feel quite flat for the most part within the movie. Who the hell is that motorcycle man?!?
